Kenley Jansen Looking Revitalized In Cactus League
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen is looking polished through the early portion of spring training. On Wednesday during a 9-4 win over the Los Angeles Angels, Jansen struck out the side in his only inning of work. In that appearance, his cutter was touching 92-94 mph, which is a significant increase from last season's velocity. It is a promising sign that Jansen is back to his All-Star form after a frustrating 2019 season that saw him post the highest ERA of his career (3.71). Even with his struggles, Jansen is a top-five fantasy closer, making him a worthy selection inside the top 125 picks of the draft.
