Joc Pederson Resumes Baseball Activities Friday
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson (oblique) played catch on Friday as he continues to recover from discomfort in his side. It remains to be seen whether Pederson will be available for Opening Day, but at the very least, he is trending in the right direction. The 27-year-old had a career year in the 2019 season, swatting 36 home runs and 74 RBI while slashing .249/.339/.538. While Pederson's strikeout totals remain high, he has elite power as a platoon player. A.J. Pollock stands to see the most significant uptick in fantasy value if Pederson is on the shelf to start the season.
