Ryan Braun Dealing With Sore Shoulder
5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun has been dealing with a sore shoulder, manager Craig Counsell said. It doesn’t affect him throwing but only hitting, according to his manager. He is still scheduled to make his Cactus League debut later this week. He is coming off his 13th season with Milwaukee. He hit .285 with 22 home runs, 75 RBI and 70 runs scored in 504 plate appearances in 2019. The 36-year-old, a potential 20-plus home run and 10-plus steal player, is being drafted as the 65th outfielder after pick 240, making him a steal in most drafts. Braun has aged gracefully, consistently finishing with an OPS well above league average. He offers great value in 2020.
