5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (shoulder) said on Thursday that he only needs around 30 at-bats to prepare for the regular season and can still be ready for Opening Day as a result. Despite his optimistic outlook, Judge didn’t give any positive news regarding his health, reporting that his shoulder discomfort has been on-and-off depending on the day. Fantasy owners shouldn’t read too much into Judge’s optimistic timeline. General manager Brian Cashman already said that Judge is unlikely to be ready for Opening Day, and his shoulder has been a stubborn issue this spring.--Sam Chinitz
