Jake Fraley Quiet Against Giants
5 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley went 0-for-3 with a strikeout during the loss to San Francisco on Sunday. The 24-year-old has had a subpar spring outside of his two homers and is currently batting just .217 while striking out six times in his 23 plate appearances. His slugging percentage of .522 is respectable, as is his four RBI, but he will need to do more to get noticed on the fantasy end of things moving forward. The lefty finished 2019 with just six hits on 40 at-bats to go along with 14 strikeouts. He is expected to have a consistent role in the lineup in 2020, at least until Mitch Haniger (hernia, back) can find his way back on to the field.
