5 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Evan White went 0-for-3 during the loss to the San Francisco Giants on Sunday. Despite his quiet outing, the 23-year-old is hitting .350 this spring. He does have five strikeouts, but he has managed to offset that mark by racking up three doubles during Cactus League play, second on the team behind Tim Lopes (five). His play at the plate is a positive sign, especially for those hoping for big things from the defensive specialist in 2020. Keep an eye on his progress moving ahead.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
