5 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Justin Dunn needed only three innings to strike out five batters on Monday evening in the Cactus League loss to the Brewers. The 24-year-old has been solid this spring and currently has 10 strikeouts in just 6 2/3 innings of work while allowing only four hits, two walks and two earned runs. He is on the outside looking in for the team's five-man starting rotation and may begin the season at Triple-A Tacoma. However, he could find himself getting the call if the team is faced with an injury at some point down the line.
