Justin Dunn Strikes Out Five Batters On Monday Night
5 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Justin Dunn needed only three innings to strike out five batters on Monday evening in the Cactus League loss to the Brewers. The 24-year-old has been solid this spring and currently has 10 strikeouts in just 6 2/3 innings of work while allowing only four hits, two walks and two earned runs. He is on the outside looking in for the team's five-man starting rotation and may begin the season at Triple-A Tacoma. However, he could find himself getting the call if the team is faced with an injury at some point down the line. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his progression, especially if he continues to play well heading into the 2020 campaign.
