5 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Dinelson Lamet fired four innings of one-hit ball Wednesday against the Seattle Mariners. Lamet fanned three in his third start, extending his scoreless spring through nine frames. Nearly 24 months removed from Tommy John surgery, Lamet is locked as the Friars third or fourth starter and should be in-line for a normal workload in 2020. The 27-year-old managed a 4.07 ERA across 73 innings after returning from injury last season with an electric 33.6 percent strikeout rate. As an elite strikeout asset, Lamet’s stock has risen to 125. Having issued just one walk this spring, Lamet is poised for a breakout season if he can manage his control and keep the ball in the yard.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
