Kareem Hunt Given Second-Round Tender
5 years agoThe Cleveland Browns placed a second-round tender on restricted free-agent running back Kareem Hunt on Monday. The tender means that a team would have to give the Browns a second-round pick if they sign Hunt and Cleveland chooses not to match the offer. Hunt is able to negotiate contracts with other teams but the Browns retain first right of refusal, meaning Hunt will remain a Cleveland Brown if the team wants to keep him. Hunt played in eight games for Cleveland last season, rushing for 179 yards and two touchdowns while adding 37 receptions for 285 yards and another score.
