Browns Interested In Austin Hooper
5 years agoThe Cleveland Browns are reportedly interested in free-agent tight end Austin Hooper, according to Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot. Cabot tweeted on Monday that the Browns have Hooper on their radar as the free-agent negotiation period opened up at noon on Monday. The team's interest in Hooper could indicate that they are planning to move on from third-year tight end David Njoku, who struggled through an injury-filled 2019 campaign. Hooper's free-agent deal is widely expected to set the market at the tight end position. Hooper caught 75 passes for 787 yards and six touchdowns with the Atlanta Falcons in 2019.
