Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. If you are reading this, you must be missing sports quite a bit but have found solace in DFS ESports. For those that are new to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS set up, don't worry I got your back!
If you need a quick refresher, here you go. You have teams of five and the objective is to plant a bomb while the other team defends. It’s a pretty simple objective so let’s not try to over-analyze things! There are 30 rounds per match (the first to win 16 rounds takes the match) and they play best two out of three. There is no respawning so once you die, you are gone till the next round so kill-to-death ratios are very important to look at it when crafting your roster.
Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS advice, analysis and picks for ESports DFS contests on DraftKings Monday, April 13th, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @rdr1634 as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions!

Flashpoint League - 1:00 PM
- Gen G. vs HAVU
- Orgless vs. Cloud9
DFS Captain Considerations
SLowi yet again is mispriced for a guy who has gone for three straight 100+ DK performances. He had himself another solid day on Sunday as he went for 60 kills against MIBR. SLowi has had a 1.22 K/ D ratio over the last month and has actually produced a 54.5% headshot percentage.
SLowi is one of the most consistent players on the slate and is viable in the captain role in both cash game and tournament lineups.
ZOREE is another captain consideration from HAVU. He himself has also gone for three straight 100+ DK performances heading into Sunday. He is the most expensive HAVU player on this slate but carries enough upside for his salary.
ZOREE is averaging 79.5 DK points per game which is the highest on the slate and with them dropping a close match to MIBR on Sunday, they will need ZOREE’s A game against Gen. G. ZOREE has a 1.30 K/D ratio over the last month and has been one of the hottest players in the Flashpoint League all season long.
Koosta can be a good tournament option for the captain role on this slate. He is one of the higher-priced options on the slat but with his team drawing a tough matchup against HAVU, he could go lower owned.
Koosta has gone for 100+ DK points in two out of his last four games and is capable of getting 50+ kills in any match. He is a riskier captain option but if you are looking to get different in tournaments, he should be on your radar.
DFS Value Plays
Hoody has been a pleasant surprise when it comes to value pieces from HAVU. He is only $6.600 on this slate (DK) and is averaging 57.6 DK points per game. He has gone for 50 DK points in four straight games with one of those games eclipsing the 100 point mark.
Hoody has a 1.01 K/D ratio over the last month and has a very solid 48.5% headshot percentage. He fits in great if you are trying to stack HAVU and also serves as a good value one-off if you are trying to keep your HAVU exposure low incase you like the Gen. G side of things.
Sonic is a great value piece if you wanted cheaper exposure to Cloud9. He is only $6,400 and has hit 50+ DK points in five out of his last eight games. He owns a 1.01 K/D ratio over the last month and carries a 1.10 K/D ratio in his career against Gen. G.
While he doesn’t carry extreme upside, he does have a solid floor that we can rely on in our lineups.
Top DFS Stacks
Cloud9 looks to be the favorite in the matchup against Orgless and it’s hard to disagree with Vegas here. They have won three out of their last five games and also have a win over Orgless in the last 30 days. In their one lone matchup this season, Cloud9 won a close game-winning 2-1. Cloud9 is a very deep team with four members having above a 1 K/D ratio over the last month.
OSee and motm carry the load for this Cloud9 squad with floppy being a good third edition to a Cloud9 stack. Orgless kept it close so we should anticipate another close matchup that could come down to a third game.
HAVU dropped a tough series to MIBR yesterday and are looking to right the ship against Gen G. Over the last three months, HAVU has won 66.7% of their games while winning four out of their last five games. They carry a team K/ D ratio of 1.09 and get a Gen. G team whose been averaging a K/D ratio of just 1.00 over the last month.
They have two of the top players in the Flashpoint League in sLowi and ZOREE so this is the best place to start for a HAVU stack. Hoody and doto both make solid value plays if you were looking to get different and create a three-man HAVU stack.
