5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Mike Clevinger (knee) is doing well, according to manager Terry Francona. Clevinger underwent surgery on Feb. 14 and should be ready to go when play officially resumes in 2020. He has all the tools to ascend into ace-level status and has already proven himself as a top-30 starting pitcher. The delayed start to the season due to the coronavirus pandemic has helped Clevinger, as he wasn't going to be ready for the start of the season otherwise. He's RotoBaller's No. 13-ranked starting pitcher, but Clevinger could be a bargain as a low-end ace if you've yet to draft.--James Stokke
