Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering Esports at Rotoballer! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible.
We are staying in the DreamHack Masters league today with three games and a relatively normal lock time of 6:00 PM. We see some of the same teams that we saw on yesterday's slate once again, so we may have a chance to exploit some recency bias.
Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS advice, analysis and picks for ESports DFS contests on DraftKings Sunday, April 19th, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @rdr1634 as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions!

DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 (Best of 3)
- ENVY vs. Cloud9 (-190)
- Bad News bears (-335) vs. Recon 5
- Swole Patrol (-360) vs. Triumph
CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations
oSee actually offers some value on this slate as he is the fifth-highest priced player but carries the highest DK point per game average of 61.1. In the Dreamhack tournament so far, he has gone +29 over his last two games and carries a rating of 1.28 which is one of the higher ratings in this tournament.
The one worrisome fact about oSee is that he has a career .95 K/D ratio against Envy (16 map sample size), but when looking at the most recent data since the beginning of 2020, he has played them on six maps and has carried a 1.15 K/D ratio so that should make you feel better about rostering him against Envy.
Floppy is another Cloud9 to consider for the captain spot as well. He is $200 cheaper than oSee but carries similar numbers as he averages 60.4 DK points per game. In his four maps played in the Dramhacker tournament, he carries a +22 K/D differential and a 1.31 rating. When looking at his career against Envy, he has seen a ton of success as he has racked up a 1.22 K/D ratio over 13 maps against them.
Zellsis has had a strong start to the Dreamhackers tournament as he has gone +41 for his K/D differential and carries a 1.38 rating so far during the tournament. His price is lower than those of Cloud9 but is offering a solid 53.9 DK points per game. He also has one career map played against Triumph and carries a 1.58 K/D ratio against them while since the start of 2020, he has carried a 1.16 K/D ratio.
Calyx has one of the higher ceilings on this slate and while his price tag is high, he could be worth paying up for. He is carrying a 1.18 K/D ratio over the last four months and has a career K/D ratio of 1.26 against Cloud9.
He put up 91 DK points against Recon 5 in the opening round of the Dreamhacker tournament and is averaging 59.2 DK points over his last six games. Calyx carries a lot of upside and is a great one-off against a strong Cloud9 team.

CS:GO DFS Value Plays
Michu is $6000 on DK and is one of the better values on the slate overall. He has a career 1.10 K/D ratio and while he hasn’t been in the best form since the start of 2020, he has done well so far in this tournament racking up a +26 K/D differential and a 1.25 rating. He has played three maps against Recon 5 and has a 1.14 K/D ratio against them.
Shakezullah is an interesting value candidate as he has a 1.13 rating for this event which is the 2nd highest rating on the Triumph squad. He has a +13 K/D differential and is only $5,400. While he isn’t the most optimal play, he could save you some salary and you are hoping that his good play continues onto today’s slate.
Top CS:GO DFS Stacks
Swole Patrol looks to have a slight edge in this match against Triumph. Swole Patrol is the higher-ranked squad and looks to be the bookmarkers favorite in this contest. Both teams came into this match going 1-1 yesterday and this game being an elimination game.
SP is 1-0 against Triumph and won their only matchup by a score of 16-5. SP looks to be underperforming with Cooper- looking off but this is a perfect spot for the team as a whole to bounce back. Grim is the one player that Swole Patrol truly needs to watch out for as he has a 1.42 rating during this event and is an extremely viable one-off option on this slate.
Zellsis is the safest pick from the Swole Patrol Squad for reasons listed above. Cooper- still stands out as a GPP tournament play but is risky due to his aggressive play that could lead to many deaths while also leading to lots of kills. MarKE and Food look to be solid plays if you find yourself looking for mid-priced players from SP.
Bad News Bears head into this match having won four out of their last five games with their lone loss being against C9 who is the heavy favorite in this tournament. They own the lone win in the head to head series against Recon 5 as they won 16-8 in late February. BNB is ranked #31 in the world while Recon 5 is ranked #59 so this favors the BNB squad.
Reality is the main player for Recon 5 that the Bad News Bears have to really watch. He has a 1.25 rating during this event and has a +30 K/D differential over his last five maps. Dapr is where you should start your BNB stacks as he is carrying a 1.18 K/D ratio since the start of 2020 and has a .79 kills per round rating over the last four months. Ptr is a great compliment for your BNB stacks as he has a +12 K/D differential and could go lower owned due to his high price tag.
