5 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts have re-signed wide receiver Marcus Johnson, per his agents. Johnson appeared in eight games for the Colts last season, starting six of them and finishing with 17 catches for 277 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Notably, Johnson was targeted at least four times in each of the team's final five games, and he played at least 72 percent of snaps in each of those games as well. While we shouldn't expect the Colts to enter 2020 with Johnson as one of their starting wideouts, he should be someone to keep an eye on during the preseason to see how his role looks. Johnson's the kind of player who could emerge as a mid-season waiver priority should the Colts deal with injury issues or ineffectiveness from some of their younger receivers.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
