Texans Extend Laremy Tunsil
5 years agoThe Houston Texans and left tackle Laremy Tunsil have agreed to terms on a three-year extension that keeps one of the league's best young offensive lineman in Houston. The deal is set to pay Tunsil $66 million, with $57.85 million of that guaranteed. It's a great deal for Tunsil and great news for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, who gets some continuity on the offensive line to help keep him upright. The shorter length of the deal is interesting, but overall this signing is good news for the Texans offense, which now has one less thing to worry about moving forward. Of course, there's no guarantee that Watson has a better season in 2020 than in 2019 since the Texans will be without their former star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, but Watson should still be one of the league's top fantasy passers, especially with Tunsil protecting his blindside.
