5 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Trey Burton -- who the team just signed -- said that he had been misdiagnosed with an injury last offseason while playing for the Chicago Bears, leading him to rush back to the field. Burton had hip surgery in December and says that he's four months into a six month recovery window from that, and the expectation seems to be that Burton will be healthy heading into the 2020 season. He's still expected to play a secondary role to tight end Jack Doyle and hold little fantasy value, but Burton's statement about last year's injury could explain why Burton could never get going in the eight games he played in 2019.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
