Jets Take Offensive Tackle Cameron Clark
5 years agoWith the 129th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New York Jets took Charlotte offensive tackle Cameron Clark. Clark was a good run blocker in college, but his pass protection will need some work, and the Jets shouldn’t expect Clark to start for them off the bat, especially when the team already drafted a first-round lineman. Still, long term, his run-blocking prowess could help open rushing lanes for whoever lines up behind the quarterback in 2021 or 2022, whether it be Le'Veon Bell or, more likely, some younger running back like the newly drafted Lamical Perine.
