Eagles Go With Boise State Receiver John Hightower
5 years agoWith the 168th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles addressed their wide receiver needs again, taking Boise State’s John Hightower. Last year, Philly had near historical levels of injuries and ineffectiveness from their receivers, so grabbing a late-round guy here makes sense. Hightower is incredibly fast and while he has to work on all the other areas of his game, the Eagles can always use help at the receiver position. Hightower might be able to find a role later in the season as a deep threat for quarterback Carson Wentz, though fantasy owners shouldn’t be thinking about him on draft night.
