Texans Take Wide Receiver Isaiah Coulter
5 years agoWith the 171st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans added a young wide receiver in Rhode Island’s Isaiah Coulter. After trading away DeAndre Hopkins, Houston was expected to go receiver early in this draft before they signed Randall Cobb and traded for Brandin Cooks. With those additions, the team waited until Round 5 to approach the position, adding Coulter, a big-play receiver with good hands. His chances of playing a role in 2020 will depend on the health of the receivers ahead of him, which is always a question when you have players like Cooks and Will Fuller V.
