Colts Sign Kicker Rodrigo Blankenship
5 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts have agreed to a deal with undrafted free-agent kicker Rodrigo Blankenship. The former Georgia Bulldog made 82.5 percent of his field-goal attempts in his four years of college ball and was a perfect 200-for-200 on extra points. Blankenship will provide some needed competition with Chase McLaughlin, who bounced between three teams as a rookie and was 18-for-23 on field-goal attempts last year. Look for Blankenship to have a great shot at the starting kicker job for the Colts, where he could be a solid fantasy streaming option. This is, of course, assuming that Adam Vinatieri decides to move on and hang up his cleats.
