5 years agoThe New Orleans Saints re-signed Taysom Hill to a two-year contract extension worth $21 million, including $16 million guaranteed at the time of signing. The news comes right after the Jameis Winston signing, so it's been a busy day in the New Orleans quarterback room. The two will presumably battle it out for the backup job behind Drew Brees. The money may seem like a lot for a backup quarterback- Hill is much more than that to the Saints. He lined up under center, at running back, out wide, and as a tight end in the New Orleans offense last year.--Tim Capurso
