Aaron Hicks Throwing From 90 Feet
5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (elbow) has reportedly been throwing from 90 feet and taking soft toss as he continues to recover from Tommy John surgery. With the season unlikely to start until July at the earliest, Hicks should be expected to miss no more than a couple of weeks to start the season. Hicks should claim the starting center field job over Brett Gardner when healthy, and the 30-year-old is capable of posting an OPS above .800 after doing so in two of the past three seasons. Hicks’s level of production and smooth recovery from surgery makes him a bargain at his 430 ADP (since April 1) and should lower the values of fellow Yankee outfielders Clint Frazier, Mike Tauchman, and Brett Gardner.
