5 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Jarrett Stidham is looked upon as the leading candidate to take over the starting job in 2020. The Pats decided to wait until after the 2020 NFL Draft to sign two undrafted quarterbacks. Veteran Brian Hoyer is back for his third stint with the team, but is expected to be the second string to start the season. New England has faith the Stidham has the potential and talent to be a reliable option. "Stid worked really hard last year,"head coach Bill Belichick told NFL Network. The organization plans to build a game plan around his talents. It doesn't sound like the Pats are ready to hand Stidham the keys to the castle, but they are definitely going to give him a fair chance to showcase his talent this season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
