Ezekiel Elliott Should Benefit From Supporting Cast
5 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott may flourish from the addition of rookie wide receiver CeeDee Lamb along with the duo of Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup all surrounding him this upcoming season. With a plethora of options on the offensive end for the Cowboys in 2020, Elliot could benefit the most when opposing defenses are spread thin in anticipation of deep passes from quarterback Dak Prescott. The 24-year-old signed a new deal with the organization before the start of the 2019 campaign and finished with 1,357 yards and 12 touchdowns off of 201 attempts. He also added 54 catches for 420 yards and two touchdowns. He is expected to produce a similar output, so look for him to be selected in the first round of fantasy drafts, likely being picked only behind Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, and Michael Thomas in most formats.
