Martin Truex Jr. Always Strong At Charlotte
5 years agoCharlotte Motor Speedway is a good track for Joe Gibbs Racing driver Martin Truex Jr. since he became aligned with Gibbs in 2016 when Furniture Row Racing switched to Toyota. Truex has won three of the six Cup races on the 1.5-mile track, plus he has added a second- and third-place finish as well. The combination of Gibbs' speed on intermediate tracks and Truex's prowess on this type of raceway has become a lethal combination. Truex has also qualified 14th or worse in his last three races here. A mediocre qualifying run on Sunday could set him up to gain a good number of place-differential points for your DFS lineups. Truex should be considered the favorite to win Sunday's race, and if you're looking to roster one of the top-priced DFS options, Truex is the safe bet.
