Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering eSports DFS at RotoBaller! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CS:GO contests on DraftKings which can also be related to FanDuel contests as well.
We have a four-game main slate on DraftKings that involves teams from the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 series. This is going to be a nice change of pace from the 3-game slates we were getting at Dreamhack and we should see some late afternoon slates for the late games as well.
Today I'll be bringing you my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 at 1:50 PM. Be sure to also check out our awesome CS:GO Premium DFS Tools including our Lineup Optimizer, Research Station, Projections and DFS Cheat Sheets! Feel free to follow me on Twitter @jorgepucks as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions. Good luck RotoBallers!

Best of One Tournament Strategy
The format for this contest is the best of one which really makes this tricky. We have been used to a Best of three, which really allows for big-time scores and gives players an opportunity to really come back strong if they end up having a bad round. There are several ways to attack this tournament moving forward since this will be the main tournament for the coming weeks.
The first thought is to load up on stacks of the top teams that could do well just like you would with a best of three series. With there not being sweep bonuses, the only additional bonuses you are relying on are lopsided games where you can rack up some additional points for rounds not being played but that will only result in a few fantasy points. The other thought process is that you can nail the top two or three players that do well in these lopsided games which would result in having a very nice kill/death differential resulting in a strong score.
The downside to this thinking is that you have to be spot on with your plays since one guy or stack can sink a lineup. I was heavy on Astralis and they got beat down by NiP which resulted in low scores from someone like device which means most likely, the rest of that stack did poorly. 3/3 stacks are very boom or bust and if you are on the right side of them, you could be taking everything down. Conversely, you can have lineups bust really quickly if you load up on a team and they just not show up for that one game.
The winning lineup in my main contest scored a 213 and had a 2-2-1-1 stack (2 MAD, 2 Vitality, Astralis, and Mouz one-off). This seems to be a better and more efficient way of going about constructing your lineup for the time being for these best of one matches. You are including several small two-man stacks while diversifying and grabbing the best players from other teams. The guy who won (shoutout to Senegal206 for taking 1st) had Bubzkji and roeJ from MAD while pairing them with Zyw0o and misutaaa from Vitality. His one-offs were ropz and device which are the top guys from each squad. Diversifying your lineup and grabbing the best overall players from teams projected to win seems to be the safer and better route so make sure to give this a try moving forward.
CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations
KSCERATO checks in at $7,600 which is just insanely low for someone who is averaging 19.2 kills per game and 14.7 deaths per game. Over the last month, he has produced a 1.15 K/D ratio and a .68 kill per round rate while having a .60 death per round rate. With his price point so low, it is hard to not look his way on this slate!
Fer stands out big time based on his most recent game against Chaos. Just a little over a week ago, MiBR faced Chaos and fer generated a 2.03 K.D ratio against them. Fer is only $7,600 and if we can even get half of that production from him in this best of one format, he will be a top player on the slate.
Other captain plays: HEN1, FalleN, Floppy
CS:GO DFS Value Plays
kNgV- is in the higher end of the value spectrum as he is just $7,200. One thing that really stands out about him is his kill per round rate. Over the last month, he has produced a .81 kill per round rate while having a .69 death per round rate. He has had a 1.17 K/D ratio over the same timespan and has been the top MiBR player from a rating standpoint. In his most recent match against Chaos, he produced a 1.31 K/D ratio and had a +11 K/D differential.
acoR looks to be an intriguing play and could come into this matchup with lower ownership compared to other value plays. He is just $6,400 and averages 18.5 kills per round while having 16.3 deaths per round. Over the last month, he has generated a 1.06 K/D ratio and has a .63 kill per round rate. Over the last three months, he has the third-highest rating on this MAD squad which tells us that he could be a tad mispriced and is a true value play compared to the rest of his teammates.
Other value plays: motm, sjuush

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks
MiBR is the top stack in my opinion on this slate. They handed Chaos a 2-0 loss a little over a week ago and was finally able to claim a win against Furia yesterday (16-13 best of 1 game match). This kind of matchup is one that can really give MiBR some confidence moving forward in this tournament. While they haven’t shown the best of form, this is a very good matchup to build their confidence and start 2-0 in this event. FalleN, fer, and kNgV- are the three main targets to build around if you decide to make a two or even three-man MiBR stack. All three could have a big day and are capable of having 20+ kills in a given round.
Furia has one of the tougher matches on the slate but it still doesn’t scare me away from using them. They are coming off of a loss against their main rival in MiBR so they will be out to seek some revenge. Gen. G has gotten the best of Furia lately as they won 2-1 back in early May so this is more of a gpp play. The main three targets are in play as they are all priced under $8,000. KSCERATO, Hen1, and yuurih will usually be the top players for Furia, and getting exposure to at least two of them will be the way to go if you look to include a Furia stack.
Other stacks/teams: C9, MAD
