5 years agoHouston Astros starter Justin Verlander (groin) released a video of a bullpen session on his own Instagram account on Monday. The caption reads: "Ready. Let's Go," indicating that the veteran hurler is healthy after his groin injury earlier this spring. Verlander had his spring training cut short after the nagging injury turned into a minor surgery. MLB and the players have been stuck in a vicious stalemate in regards to the restart of the season, but many expect that games will be played sometime in July. When healthy, the 37-year-old is still one of the premier starting pitching options in fantasy. He is one of the players that was helped by the season being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.--Joey C - RotoBaller
