5 years agoRoxanne Modafferi (24-17) was unable to build off of her recent victory over young, rising superstar Maycee Barber, dropping a decision to Lauren Murphy. Modafferi started off well by controlling Murphy on the cage, but it was downhill for her after that. Modafferi was able to get a round from the judges when she had a solid start to her third round. She used her range and some solid striking, but unfortunately Murphy was able to work her way in and seal the deal with a takedown.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
