4 years agoBaltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman recently stated that he is not worried about finding a way to keep all of the weapons in the team's backfield involved. The Ravens used a second-round pick to draft Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins in the draft in April, adding him to a crowded RB room that includes Mark Ingram II, Justice Hill, and Gus Edwards. Roman stated, "I don't think you can have enough really good running backs, and we've certainly got a plethora of them." Dobbins is likely to open the season behind Ingram but could play his way into a meaningful role as the season goes on. A best-case scenario for fantasy gamers who draft Dobbins could be what happened for Miles Sanders in Philadelphia last year or Nick Chubb in Cleveland two years ago. As rookies, both of the aforementioned backs opened the season stuck behind a veteran starter before seizing the lead role about halfway through the year. Dobbins is best treated as an RB3 with upside for redraft leagues. Dobbins has multi-year RB1 potential in dynasty formats as Ingram is unlikely to be with the team beyond the 2020 season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
