4 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook was insulted by the team's initial extension offer. While the organization is hesitant to pay him the money that was recently afforded to Christian McCaffrey, especially for a guy who has been plagued by injuries, reports have surfaced that the fourth-year back would now settle for something in the $13 million per year range. Cook had a breakout season in 2019 by finishing with 1,135 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. He also added 53 catches for 519 yards. With the Vikings hopeful and optimistic that a deal will get done within the next month, the former Seminole should remain a first-round fantasy pick, at least for now.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
