4 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon could be on track for a new deal sooner rather than later. With veteran wideout A.J. Green, who has yet to sign a franchise tag worth $18 million for the 2020 campaign, in the middle of trade rumors once again, his potential departure could open up the cash needed to get an immediate deal done for the former Sooner. If Mixon doesn't receive an extension of his current rookie contract, he stated in the past that he is prepared to hold out if necessary.
