Ron Rivera Has High Praise For Chase Young
4 years agoWashington Redskins rookie edge rusher Chase Young earned high praise from head coach Ron Rivera, who called the rookie a "mini-version" of former All-Pro Julius Peppers. Rivera also compared Young to Von Miller, who has been the premier pass-rusher in the NFL and was named a member of the 2010's All-Decade team along with Peppers. The comparisons are easy to make, as all three were the second overall pick, so the Redskins expect big things from Young, who Rivera coveted since being named Washington's head coach. Young had 16.5 sacks in 12 games for Ohio State last season and will add to a pass rush that also includes Ryan Kerrigan and Montez Sweat, giving the Redskins Defense streamer appeal in fantasy in addition to Young's upside in IDP leagues.
