4 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher Emmanuel Clase's suspension will be completed if the MLB finishes the entire 60-game season in 2020, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Clase was originally suspended 80 games by Major League Baseball for testing positive for a banned performance-enhancing substance, but the suspension won't carry over to 2021 if the league plays the entire 2020 season as planned. The right-hander was expected to be a big part of the bullpen, but that will have to wait until 2021.--James Stokke
