5 years agoChicago Bears rookie wide receiver Darnell Mooney has not been able to work out with the coaching staff this offseason, but that hasn't curtailed receivers coach Mike Furrey's excitement about the rookie. “He’s going to probably be one of the most explosive guys that we have in our room in regard to matching his speed with his agility,” Furrey said. The Bears selected the Tulane prospect in the fifth round and are hoping that the learning curve will not be too steep in 2020. The Bears offense struggled mightily last season, especially in the category of big-time explosive plays. Mooney will be tasked with learning the ropes from veteran speedster Ted Ginn Jr. as the Bears try and recapture what made their offense so dynamic in 2018.--Joey C - RotoBaller
