Leonard Fournette Posts Offseason Workout
4 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette recently posted a video on his Instagram and Twitter pages showcasing his offseason workout regimen, which highlighted a focus on agility drills. Despite compiling a career-low three rushing touchdowns, the 25-year-old finished 2019 with a career-high 1,152 yards on the ground and 76 receptions, 18 more than he had during his previous two seasons in the league combined. While his regression as a scorer was concerning, Fournette was a productive force for fantasy managers last year, especially in PPR formats. With the arrival of Chris Thompson and the drafting of dual-threat Laviska Shenault Jr., he could see a slight reduction in attempts but will likely continue to serve as the team's workhorse in 2020 barring injury. Fournette is entering the final year of his rookie deal after the team declined his fifth-year option.
