4 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop prospect Robert Puason is expected to be on the team's taxi squad when rosters are officially announced. The 17-year-old is the fourth-ranked prospect in the A's farm system, but he should be ranked No. 1 when pitchers Jesus Luzardo and A.J. Puk and catcher Sean Murphy graduate to the big league club this season. Puason is a lean 6-foot-3 infielder with a smooth swing from both sides of the plate. He should grow into more power as he develops, so it's good news for dynasty owners to see the Dominican infielder on the taxi squad. Puason was signed last July and won't turn 18 until September, so it's highly unlikely we see him in the majors this year.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
