Seranthony Dominguez Yet To Have Tommy John Surgery
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher Seranthony Dominguez (elbow) is still waiting to have Tommy John surgery. Dominguez injured his arm last June, which cost him the rest of the season. He was attempting to return this season but re-injured his arm in a spring training game in March. It had been reported Dominguez was to have surgery in June, but elective surgeries have been difficult to come by with the medical world focused on the COVID-19 pandemic, and the right-hander was also trying to make his way back to the U.S. for the procedure. Dominguez obviously won't make an impact this season, and the later he goes without going under the knife, the longer it'll take before we see him on a big league mound. He could be out for all of 2021 as well.
