4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola is not at Phillies Summer Camp, but has not been placed on the COVID-19 Injured List. Nola, as well as outfielder Adam Haseley and catcher Christian Bethancourt, are being kept away from the team amid COVID-19 protocols. The Phillies had seven players test positive for COVID-19 last week and have seven players missing from camp so it is easy to assume positive tests, though manager Joe Girardi warned that is not necessarily the case as players can be kept away if they show symptoms or contact tracing shows they have been near an infected person. The ace of the Phillies staff will almost certainly miss time early in the season if he must quarantine for two weeks rather than train with the team.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
