Wheeler and his wife are expecting their first child near Opening Day, so he has been extra cautious amid the COVID-19 pandemic and said he is still weighing the decision to play. Wheeler confirmed he'll likely miss at least two starts when the baby arrives, which would include passing safety protocols in order to rejoin the team.
