4 years agoKarol Rosa put on quite the show, dominating fellow Brazillian, Vanessa Melo, who came into the bout five pounds over the allowed limit. Rosa landed a very strong 177 strikes, with 120 of those being significant strikes. Rosa also threw in two takedowns on the night. One judge gave Rosa a 30-26 while the other two judges gave Rosa 30-27's. With the win, Rosa moves to 2-0 in the UFC. It's possible with the win, Rosa will get a shot at a top 15 bantamweight. Rosa has the skill to become a dangerous contender as long as her game continues to evolve, as it appears to be doing with each outing.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
