William Byron Looking For First Top 10 At Kentucky
4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver William Byron has run a pair of Cup Series races at Kentucky Speedway, resulting in a best finish of 18th last season. Byron's Xfinity results at the track included one top 10, but overall the young driver of the 24 car just hasn't managed to put together a strong run at the track. That could change on Sunday as Byron's shown solid speed this season, though the real reason to have DFS interest in him is that his 21st place starting spot offers strong place differential upside, not because Kentucky is a place where he's set to perform particularly well. Byron is a good play despite his recent results here and should -- barring accident or mechanical failure -- finish at least five spots better than he's starting.
