4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Masahiro Tanaka (head) could throw a bullpen session on Thursday. Tanaka hasn’t pitched since suffering a concussion on July 4, but the 31-year-old has been free of concussion symptoms since being released from the hospital 10 days ago and had been expected to get back on the mound soon. If Tanaka’s bullpen session is setback-free, then he should be ready for the start of the season, though he may have an innings limit in his first start or two.--Sam Chinitz
