4 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman/third baseman Miguel Sano has been cleared to return to the team's player pool. Sano will work out with the team for the first time since testing positive for COVID-19 earlier in July. With only nine days until baseball's Opening Day, it remains to be seen if the 27-year-old can get himself into game shape, though there is reason to be optimistic, considering he didn't show any symptoms. Sano will need to use this time to continue familiarizing himself with his new position of first base. If healthy, the right-handed slugger can provide some nice value for his power in the middle rounds of drafts.--Tim Capurso
