4 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (illness) and reliever Darwinzon Hernandez (illness) have both arrived to Boston in order to rejoin the team during summer camp. Rodriguez was away from the team after testing positive for COVID-19, with concern growing that the left-hander would not be able to lead the already depleted Red Sox rotation in 2020. "Hopefully we'll get them out there in a short time," said manager Ron Roenicke. Rodriguez's status for Opening Day is still uncertain, with Roenicke adding: "We really need to see him throw. So when we get him out on the field, we'll have him throw a bullpen. The information Eddie has given to us is that he has still been throwing quite a bit. We'll get a read, see where he's at." Rodriguez should be owned across all fantasy formats as he prepares to rejoin the team and ramp up the workload ahead of the season opener against the Orioles on July 24.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
