Aaron Nola Sharp In Exhibition Game
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola looked like he was in midseason-form in an exhibition game at Washington Saturday. The right-hander tossed five scoreless innings - including two four-out innings - mowing down a lineup that included most of the Nationals regulars. Nola allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out four. He isn't coming off his best season, but still averaged a 26.9-percent strikeout rate over the last three seasons where he has been a reliable SP2 in fantasy. Nola is on track to start on Opening Day against a weak Marlins lineup where he'll be a popular DFS play.
