Miguel Sano Looking Comfortable At First Base
4 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Miguel Sano is making a smooth transition to first base. After impressing throughout the intrasquad scrimmage games, Sano made a few strong plays in Minnesota's 4-3 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. The 27-year-old ranged towards second base to field a grounder, firing a strong throw to first. Later on, Sano scooped a throw in the dirt and also made a nice tag when a throw pulled him off the bag. It's still early, but it's a good sign that first base isn't completely foreign to Sano, who has played third for most of his career. If healthy, he'll surely smash his 127 ADP at a thin position after posting a .923 OPS in only 105 games last year.
