Randy Dobnak Makes Twins 30-Man Roster
4 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Randy Dobnak has made the team's 30-man roster. Dobnak pitched well in spring training, posting a 2.70 ERA through 10 innings pitched. He followed it up with a strong performance in the Twins' final intrasquad scrimmage game, throwing four scoreless innings without giving up a hit. Dobnak may not have a spot in the Twins' rotation right now, but he's one to watch. The 25-year-old could be a sneaky starter-reliever hybrid to have on the bench- and he could challenge Homer Bailey for the fifth rotation spot. Dobnak is best left on the waiver wire at the moment, but could be a nice pickup if Bailey starts slow.
