Tyler Wade Starting At Second Base Over DJ LeMahieu
4 years agoNew York Yankees infielder Tyler Wade is starting at second base for the team over DJ LeMahieu on Thursday. LeMahieu is still getting back into game shape after a relatively brief coronavirus-related absence, but the 32-year-old is likely to return to the Yankee lineup within the next week. Until LeMahieu returns, Wade will start at second base, and Aaron Hicks will likely be the team’s primary leadoff batter. With a career .197/.268/.298 MLB slash line, Wade doesn’t offer much for fantasy owners to get excited about, though he did steal seven bases in 43 major league games last season. As a result, Wade is only an option for DFS players chasing cheap speed, and even then isn’t likely to produce much value.
