4 years agoFree agent right-handed pitcher Matt Harvey is nearing an agreement with the Kansas City Royals on a Minor League deal for the upcoming 2020 season, per Jon Heyman of MLB Network. With the Royals’ Opening Day rotation in flux, the addition of Harvey’s veteran arm could help stabilize the starting staff. He last appeared in 2019 with the Angels and went 3-5 with a 7.09 ERA across 12 starts. He’ll have to prove himself a viable fantasy option before rushing to grab him off the waiver wire.--Jesse Borek
