Austin Voth To Serve As Nationals No. 5 Starter
4 years agoWashington Nationals right-hander Austin Voth has made the club’s starting rotation, according to manager Dave Martinez. Voth was in competition alongside Erick Fedde and others in Summer Camp, but after posting a 3.30 ERA in nine appearances (eight starts) last season, Voth will get a chance to work out of the rotation from the jump in 2020. While off-days figure to play prominently in how Washington sets up their early season rotation, Voth figures to start one of the team’s four games next week against Toronto. At this stage, Voth is a consideration either as a low-priced option in DFS or as a two-start weekly lock starter in standard fantasy.
